How We Got the Shot (Part 1)! This was one of my favourite photos from the entire cookbook—a closeup of a matcha latte.

We used fake ice cubes which are so fun to shoot with and save you time worrying about melting ice or a diluted drink.

We also used a shallow and wide bowl to give us more surface area to work with for the final shot.

I tried to drink the leftovers but the “ice” definitely adds a certain flavour to the drink… would not recommend!
