I stained the concrete of my basement floor instead of paint or epoxy and have been living with the concrete for a year now. Here's an update of the good bad and ugly of what it's like to live with a stained concrete floor. The color of stain I'm using is Oak and the sealer has a satin finish. PLEASE NOTE: I forgot to mention that I have in-floor heat running through that concrete.
