In April 2017, Katie and Jewel Keca set out on an adventure of a lifetime. The goal: horseback ride across Canada to raise money and awareness for LFC Dog Guides.
After 4 months on the road, they decided it was everyone's best interest, horses included, to return home for the winter. They are, however still actively involved with LFCDG and want to use the Project for Awesome to raise more funds while off the trail.

About LFC:
The Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides is a Non-Profit Organization that trains Services Dogs for Canadians with disabilities free of charge. Volunteers (Foster Families) raise puppies for a year until the Future Dog Guides are ready to start 'Doggie University'. Once trained, chosen applicants are brought into the Oakville, Ontario-based Centre (all expenses paid) to begin a month-long training session with their new Dog Guide. This foundation truly changes lives, giving people their independence, freedom and confidence that everyone should have access to.
