HPV and Cancer: Get Vaccinated

Описание к видео HPV and Cancer: Get Vaccinated

Protect yourself and your family with HPV (human papillomavirus) immunizations. The HPV vaccine is a safe and effective way to dramatically lower the risk of cancers associated with high-risk strains of the HPV virus, including cervical cancer, head and neck cancer, penile cancer, rectal cancer and vaginal cancer.

The HPV vaccine is 90% effective against HPV-associated cancers when given to children ages 9-12. Though less effective in older people, the vaccine may be administered to men and women through age 45.
