Major 3000 CB27/81 Uk FM CB radio - repair & service alignment

I've worked as a commercial 2-way radio engineer since 1985 & have to say I've only seen one other Major 3000 ever; the one I own. Yes, they pop up on ebay. I looked at closed auctions on Ebay & spotted 3....except it was the same one failing to sell three tines & it's still on there for sale!

Majot were going to have a whole range of CB radios including a base station, but only the 3000 actually got produced. Similar story to JWR....they also were having a pile of different models & just the M2 happened....then there weas Halcyon with a GT858 that got as far as prototypes.....and stopped.

This boxed one in lovely conditiion came in with no transmit.
