The Australian Federal Police have concluded that the Bondi gunman and his father acted alone in the attack that resulted in 15 murder charges. Investigators determined the pair spent a month in a hotel in the southern Philippines before the massacre, but found no evidence of terrorist training or wider conspiracy. NSW authorities have condemned a reported increase in Islamophobic attacks targeting Muslims following the Bondi massacre, including incidents of dead pigs being thrown at mosques and women being spat on for wearing traditional face coverings.
