Destiny 2 - Tree of Probabilities Prestige Nightfall Solo (Week 26), February 27th 2018 / 02-27-2018 - ...using different (bad) weapons! Details below. edit: So at first I wasn't really keen on the idea and kinda just wanted to show it was possible and to tide people over, but how would you all feel about 1 run per week where viewers choose the loadouts? Would create a Strawpoll for each weapon slot at the start of the week and whatever is voted I'd run with those. It would make for incredibly long and tedious runs in some cases, but perhaps that's a nice balance between running what I enjoy, and also keeping people happy that want to see different setups. Yesterday saw a lot of comments + complaints on the channel / on reddit about "you never use any different weapons", "you can't do it without your usual setup", "boring with the same stuff" etc etc. It's been an incresingly common trend lately so here's a video with different stuff for those who want to see something different.

Why I run the Better Devils / Manannan SR4 / Curtain Call combo most of the time? Because they're what I enjoy to use the most!
With weapons being as weak as they generally are in D2 PVE, having explosive rounds weapons make you feel more powerful - which equals more fun!

To me playing like this with a SMG / Pulse / Shotgun isn't remotely enjoyable. The difficulty doesn't really change, it just makes engagements much slower and more tedious. And especially when you're playing solo and wanting to push yourself, using a familiar and enjoyable setup is what makes the run more fun and makes me want to go back each week. Would much rather that than the slow engagements and firing wet noodles at enemies with a weaker setup like this. But regardless it has been requested a lot, so here it is.

Just basically wanted to explain why I mostly stick to the same setup and don't tend to deviate as much. And show that hey, using poor weapons can be done very easily as well... it just slows the run down.

I always welcome suggestions to the channel and things you want to see more; actually, I encourage it! So feel free to throw up any suggestions you want.

The weapons here were just random things I already had / got from rank up engrams and chucked on. Shotgun was Perfect Paradox from the Saints-14 quest, SMG from Gunsmith and got the Pulse from a random Nessus rank up.

My PC setup is nothing too crazy at all, but the specs are:
i7-8700, GTX 1070, 8 GB Ram, 256 SSD / 2 TB HDD.

Allows me to run max settings at constant 60FPS while recording. Which is about all I need for now :)
