We invite you to join us for a special encore presentation of the sermon preached by the Presiding Bishop of the Shrines of the Black Madonna of the Pan African Orthodox Christian Church.

For 72 years, the Pan African Orthodox Christian Church has been focused on “Living in Step with the Spirit.” The Holy Spirit is that powerful, intelligent, guiding force that continues to animate, elevate, and inspire the mission and ministry of our covenant community. Living in Step with the Spirit has often required us to become comfortable being out of step, out of association, or out of agreement with the conventional wisdom of the masses. Nevertheless, the PAOCC has moved forward—sometimes uncertain, but always trusting in the Spirit—to transition and transform our membership and programs into the instruments and agents needed to provide creative solutions to the problems confronting Black people, and all of humanity, at each critical juncture along the way.
