As I was walking along a path in the evergreen fern forest of Oregon . I happened to notice this red racer out of the corner of my eye . She wasn’t scared or running from me at all in fact he or she came right to me and said hi lol . Some of my family have said that I am a empath and that it’s a good thing ya I did some research but really didn’t bother with it . But I guess it’s the reason wild animals will come right to me and just sit with me and relax it’s actually the coolest thing I’ve ever experienced and most of the time I am alone . But I’m doing my best to film these encounters and I know it’s just a regular garden snake . But look 👀 this was a complete accident I was looking for wild mushrooms 🍄 and it just happened this same encounter I have with all animals even a deer was shadowing me this entire hike and it was like 8 miles of me hiking it was honestly amazing the fact the doe or deer came right up to me and followed me as I uncovered multiple berry bushes and many mushrooms I think she was absolutely enjoying her self and getting a full tummy in the process. And to my amazement, as I was leaving where I parked my car, there was giant cherry trees, black, wild, cherry trees, and so instead of leaving right away, I did what i usually did. And for some black cherries, there are amazing here in Oregon so after about 20 minutes of staying there collecting cherries and eating cherries, I started my car backed up and I went to pull away . If i would have just looked over to the left i would have seen her again. Well as i was saying goodbye to the deer that followed me for my entire hike she also let know that she was completely comfortable around me and safe . So safe that she let her fern feed right in front of me and that was a blessing she protected her fern by hiding her or him all day out in the tall grass and to have her arrive back to her fern and right in front of me and let it feed and had no issues with me there watching and talking to them . It was absolutely beautiful and I just love this world and all of its wonders .. thank you 🙏 and I hope you enjoy my videos I am not a photographer or a video expert. I do not have a degree in anything cameras. All I have is my iPhone 14+ I did have some camera gear a while ago but I lost it so I’m working with my phone.
