We pull this antique from South Manchester Fire Department (Manchester Fire Rescue) out of the barn and get it running for the first time in over 50 years! This ladder truck replaced the departments first motorized ladder truck a 1912 Seagrave which is restored and located at the Manchester Fire Museum in Manchester CT and is on display. This truck was purchase new in 1926 and was in service into the 1960's when it was sold to a private owner. After changing hands several times throughout the years I purchased it in 2019 up in Maine. I had it transoported back and it has sat in storage at the armory since. Now it finally will have life breathed back into it!
