"Einen Walzer Für Dich Und Für Mich" - Marika Rökk (1939)

Описание к видео "Einen Walzer Für Dich Und Für Mich" - Marika Rökk (1939)

Marika Rökk (vocal) and chorus with big Dance Orchestra under the direction of Michael Jary. Recorded in Berlin on December 5th 1939.
The song "A Waltz For You And For Me" was written by Franz Grothe (music) and Willi Dehmel (lyrics) for the German UFA Picture "Frauen Sind Doch Bessere Diplomaten (Women Are Better Diplomats After All)", starring Marika Rökk and Willy Fritsch. It was the first German full length Agfacolor movie and very difficulf to realize. Filming started in July 1939 and lasted until September 1940. After an extensive post production the movie premiered on October 31st 1941 and became a great success. Here's the lovely film scene with this song:    • "Ein walzer  fuer dich und fuer mich"
"Marika Rökk (born Marie Karoline Rökk, 3 November 1913 – 16 May 2004) was a German-Austrian dancer, singer and actress of Hungarian descent who gained prominence in German films in the Nazi era. She resumed her career in 1947 and was one of Europe's most famous operetta singers, performing onstage until 1986."
