In this video, you will see me play Flotsam (Version 1.0 Full Release). Flotsam is a Floating Mobile Survival City Builder Colony Sim in a Flooded Post Apocalyptic Water World. This game shares a lot of game mechanics that are similar to "All Will Fall", "Airborne Empire", "Airborne Kingdom", "Oceaneers", "Against the Storm", "Timberborn", "Cataclismo", "Going Medieval", "Bulwark Evolution: Falconeer Chronicles", "Frostpunk 2", "Tribe Must Survive", "Endzone 2", "Surviving the Aftermath", "Raft", "Whiskerwood", "Dredge", "Oxygen Not Included", "Stardeus", "Space Haven", and "Mind Over Magic". The premise of the game is you're on a Boat in a Post Apocalyptic Flooded World now covered in Water (similar to the movie "Waterworld" with Kevin Costner). You must rebuild civilization from your Boat that can move your city around similar to Airborne Kingdom style. Explore the World, Gather Resources, Craft Materials and Tools, Construct Buildings, Fish, Farm, Cook, and Look for other Survivors. In many ways, Flotsam is almost like creating a Space Ship exploring the Universe. If you think about the city building game mechanics is like building and expanding a Starship, moving around in space and harvesting and mining resources from asteroids and planets. This game is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend checking it out.
