We were delighted to see that Naramat and Nempiris both have cubs.
They are 4-6 weeks old and still very small. We came across Naramat earlier this week, about a hundred metres from the camp while she was moving them from one bush to another. This is always a stressful exercise for the mother because she can carry only one cub at a time. You will see a couple of cubs waiting while one of their siblings is being moved. The last cub decides against staying back to await its turn and walks with Naramat.
