Only citizens of India and NRI can seek information under RTI.

Get works done as per specifications of tender document through use of RTI.

In case you suffer economic loss due to non supply of information or wrong information you may claim compensation.
RTI quickens pace of disposal. ACRs got expedited for consideration of DPC.

Get copies of old record under RTI. 70 year old land acquisition documents were procured in 12 rupees instead of bribe. This is the power of RTI.

Ask for fixation of accountability. Ask two questions
who is responsible fo the act and what action has been taken against him. it work...

In case you find any illegal construction or activities going on do seek relevant information under RTI act. it will prove to be deterrent. In case you need urgent information you may mark it as Life or Liberty case and justify it so that PIO can provide it at the earliest.
