NOC, an abbreviation for No Objection Certificate, as the name suggests, is a Document/ Certificate issued to the Housing Society by the relevant government department, giving it the permission to legally start it’s project. In order to comply with rules of the government every Housing Society has to apply for the NOC.

However, not all societies are awarded with the NOC from the relevant government departments since there are certain legalities and requirements that need to catered by the Housing Societies to take the government departments on board in the project. Every particular area has it’s own concerned government department which issues the NOC with multiple legal requirements.

Some of the basic requirements include the availability of a certain amount of land before the project starts. The map, development plan, government related buildings are some other requirements that need to taken care off by the Housing Societies at an earlier stage.
