Following up from the part 1 of this presentation in our series on open economy macroeconomics basic concepts as the International Trade and Globalisation gravy rolls on we see Who benefits from globalization the most (globalisation) and what are the benefits of International Trade to developing country and the developed country or countries.
We observe that the fruits of International Trade is no longer evenly balanced and there are set of entities who benefits from globalization the most and thereby benefits from international trade the most. In many cases the benefits of international trade to developing country which is exporting starts outweighing the benefits of trade to developed country thats importing.
Also one critical consequence of this is the reduced efficacy of fiscal and monetary policy for the developed country incase the devloping or exporting country follows a fixed exchange rate regime.
