UPSC exam, as generally perceived, is not the right term for the examination that you are preparing for.

The real name for the UPSC exam is neither "UPSC exam", nor "IAS exam". The real name can be understood via the notification that UPSC publishes in the Gazette of India.

The aforesaid observation tells one that the real name of this exam is, infact, "CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION".

Civil Services Examination, or CSE is an examination which is conducted for the All-India Services and Central Services for Group A, and a few Group B services. This exam has a lot of wrong understandings around itself.

The first one is the very name of the examination. That is why this video intends to clarify what is the real name of the examination. Also, this way one can starts understand the examination in the manner he/she is supposed to.
