Touhou 18: Unconnected Marketeers - Stage 2

Stage 2 itself is a bit shorter, and honestly a tad easier than I'd expect after what Stage 1 did. It's not that much more difficult than what came before, and has more of a “you've got an idea of what's coming, now let's see some more of that” type vibe going on. It does introduce you to the fact that this game likes to toss large fairies that shoot a large wave of bullets at you however. You need to make sure you take them out quickly before you start dealing with overlapping waves (a big part of the reason I said having low power late in the game is a big problem)

Takane however is significantly stronger than what Mike pulled off. The vast majority of her attacks aren't direct and actually come at you more horizontally than anything. For her non-spells you're gonna need to get used to backing away alongside her wide spiral of bullets, then for a couple of her spell cards she pulls off wide crisscrossing bullets that you'll need to push up through soon as you get an opening.
