Описание к видео (End of the Line) Remnants of Jurong Railway

Come with me while I walk along the Southern and Western most Railway Tracks of Singapore!

Formerly belonging to Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM), Jurong Railway opened in 4 March 1966, it served the Jurong Industrial District of Singapore in the West of Jurong. The railway is a freight railway that carried supplies and goods in and out of the Industrial District.

However due to construction of expressways and road infrastructure to the Jurong Industrial District, The Jurong Railway Ceased operations as its demand were lightened by the Existing Road Infrastructure.

Beside Shipyard Road is the end of the Southern most and Western Most branch of the Jurong Railway, and remnants of where the Buffer Stop was.
