At a recent event when Arbaaz Khan was asked to comment on Salman Khan’s ‘rape’ controversy, he wasn’t particularly happy with the question! Here’s what he had to say…
Is it always that Salman Khan‘s “innocent” comments affect his family more that the Sultan actor himself? His fans sure stand up whatsoever to call his comments innocent and in the right spirit and not to be taken seriously. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that this is height of ignorance by fans and people. The actor recently made a rather insensitive statement when he compared himself to a rape victim after finishing a wrestling scene during shooting. Obviously, this aggravated people as it was an extremely stupid comparison to make in the first place. However, what has bothered people more is the fact that his father, Salim Khan came out and apologized for his son’s folly.

But when bro Arbaaz Khan was asked to comment on the situation, he was quite miffed! Not over his brother’s stupid statement but over the fact that he is always asked about Salman! Although he controlled his anger to a great extent as he gave a statement, it was quite evident that he was upset. He said, “Not every incident that happens with Salman, I am supposed to be answerable to. Whether Salman is getting married, not getting married, who is Salman’s girlfriend, what does Salman say… Salman is a 50 year old man who says things according to him in front of the media, how he leads his life, I’ve not put a GPRS on Salman that I know where he is, who he is sitting with. So it happens that I don’t know so I couldn’t comment till I heard what he had said.”
