Disabled people in the North of England get less support than other areas

A report finds people in the North of England with disabilities get less financial support than in other parts of the country, despite the government spending more than £2bn on adult social care throughout the pandemic.

It also revealed that people in the region also had some of the lowest levels of happiness and highest levels of anxiety.
