CleanJoy – Fluoride-containing tooth cleaning and polishing paste | VOCO GmbH - Englisch

CleanJoy is the new tooth cleaning and polishing paste used for professional tooth cleaning and polishing within the framework of prophylactic treatment. This paste is used to remove soft and hard plaque as well as extrinsic staining caused for example, by tea, coffee or tobacco. CleanJoy is also used for cleaning and polishing tooth surfaces as well as restorations as part of professional tooth cleaning. In addition, CleanJoy is suitable for use before applying whitening gel or after removing orthodontic appliances. Before the permanent cementing of indirect restorations, residues of temporary luting materials can also be removed with CleanJoy.

CleanJoy is available in three cleaning grades, thus allowing the dentist to individually cater for the situation of each patient depending on the degree of contamination present. Safe application without confusion between products is ensured by the colour coding system used for the tubes (red = coarse / high cleaning power, yellow = medium / medium cleaning power, green = fine / polishing paste). CleanJoy contains 700 ppm fluoride and so helps to remineralise and strengthen the natural dental hard tissue.

CleanJoy is simple to use and can be applied with any commercially available cup or small brush. The required amount of paste is dispensed onto a mixing pad, taken up with the cleaning tool and applied to the tooth surface to be treated at an appropriate rotational speed using light pressure. Finally, the cleaned areas are rinsed thoroughly with water and any excess material is suctioned away. Treatment with the red or yellow cleaning paste is always followed by a final application of polishing paste to smooth the cleaned surfaces and prevent renewed adherence of particles. This procedure is also recommended after the use of air polishers. The polishing paste also gives a perfect, aesthetically pleasing gleam to cleaned surfaces.
