CYCLING FROM NAIROBI TO NAKURU

David and I cycled from Nairobi to Nakuru. We battled traffic, air pollution, the scorching sun, headwinds, crosswinds, hills, lack of cycling lanes and tricky gravel sections to reach Nakuru without any incident after 5 and half hours of cycling. We arrived just before the rain poured heavily.

Watch this video if you plan to cycle from Nairobi to Nakuru or you have 25 minutes to spare :-). I hope there will be more considerations for cycling travellers when highways are being constructed; a dedicated cycling highway would have been great.
