Our application provides scheduling and calendar synchronization for users who explicitly connect their Google Calendar account. Access is requested only after user consent and is required to enable core functionality.We use read-only access to list the calendars a user can access so they can explicitly choose which calendar to connect, ensuring user control and avoiding unintended access.After a calendar is selected, we use event access to synchronize appointments between our system and Google Calendar. We read events to calculate availability and prevent conflicts, and we create, update, or delete events when appointments are scheduled, rescheduled, or canceled to keep both systems consistent. We also use Google Calendar push notifications to receive real-time updates for synchronization.Calendar data is used strictly for scheduling purposes.
