The first of Florida's 2024 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holidays will kick off on Saturday, June 1st and last through Friday, June 14th. During the sales tax holiday period, qualifying items related to disaster preparedness are exempt from sales tax. The sales tax holiday does not apply to the rental or repair of any of the qualifying items nor does it apply to any items bought in a theme park, entertainment complex, public lodging establishment or airport.
