SOLDER BAR PRODUCTION

Hydron’s Solder Bar Line is a compact, high-throughput system for producing solid solder
bars directly from tin-based alloys by continuous extrusion and automatic cutting.

The process eliminates traditional mold casting, offering cleaner operation, faster change-over, and fully uniform bar geometry. Bars are extruded and cut to programmable length and optionally stamped with your logo/alloy grade. With an optional add-on unit, the bars
can be automatically packed into boxes of specified dimensions.
Designed for both leaded and lead-free alloys (Sn-Pb, SAC, Sn-Cu, and others), the line provides tight dimensional control, excellent alloy homogeneity, and minimal manual handling. Advanced pressure
casting and extrusion chamber degassing technology guarantee clean, oxide-free final product.

End Products

1. Rectangular, triangular or trapezoidal profiles with embossed alloy type or brand logo
2. Custom bar sizes with typical weight of 200-1000g
3. Compatible alloys: Sn-Pb, Sn-Cu, SAC, and other tin-based formulations
4. Standard solder bars (Sn-Pb or lead-free) for wave and dip soldering

Performance

Throughput: up to 500 kg/h (depending on alloy and mold configuration)
Floor space: approx. 14 × 5 m (complete line)
Labor requirement: one operator for bar collection
