This Shelby Supersnake Widebody is one of ONLY 2 Widebody Supersnake S197 models in Australia.
These historic vehicles are practically never offered for sale.
The life of this particular example commenced in 2011 as a Shelby GT 500 (all S197 model Supersnake vehicles are based on the existing Shelby GT 500 unlike today’s Supersnake vehicles which are built from a normal 5.0 GT).
This Shelby belonged to an Australian car enthusiast. He had the vehicle shipped from the USA dealer to Shelby Headquarters in Las Vegas and built into a Supersnake and converted in RHD.
It arrived in Australia in March 2013.
In 2015 the vehicle was sent to the authorized Shelby agents and mustang experts, Mustang Motorsport, in Victoria where it was further enhanced by building it into a Widebody model.
Among the host of options available he selected the most powerful version, Kenne Bell Supercharger with special Shelby tune to produce over 800 horsepower and to ensure reliability it was optioned with the Shelby ultimate cooling package and one-piece tail shaft rated to cope with 1000 BHP.
Extensive new panels, badging and extraordinarily wide wheels and a near full respray turned this vehicle into one of the most stunning and aggressive looking special cars.

Finished in Torch Red with Satin Black racing stripes, highly polished deep dished Shelby Supersnake rims and the addition of a beautiful set of hood pins compliment the aggressive shape of this generation Mustang.

Pent-up demand for this generation of Supersnake vehicles, particularly the Widebody versions, is strong and commanding premium prices above those of current Supersnake models.
This unique Mustang comes with full documentation, Shelby Authentication Certificate, 2 original keys and all logbooks.
