Ram Charan, who starred in the epic blockbuster Magadheera, chose a different path with a pure love story that appealed to the Gen Z audience. Director Bhasker got the chance to direct this project, which had a chartbuster audio and impressive visuals. However, the movie did not live up to the expectations of the makers and the director at the box office. Over time, the movie gained a cult following on OTT platforms and the songs became classics.

twelve years later, the movie got a new lease of life with a 4K rerelease and it broke new records among the Telugu films that got a second chance. We caught up with Director Bhaskar to learn what made the moviegoers change their hearts.
