And we came to the end of the road... Ash, you'll forever be remembered as one of my favorite characters. You deserved better.
I swear, this anime is so beautiful but heartbreaking. It's a story about a wounded soul that found peace, salvation and love thanks to another pure soul.
I've read the manga and I thought I was prepared for the ending but I still bawled my eyes out.
Ash and Eiji have one of the most beautiful relationships. They're soulmates, they're best friends, they're everything to each other.
Let's not be angry at the author for the ending but instead remember their journey and be thankful for the existence of banana fish.
