After performing in the Hotel Luitpold on the 6th October 1994, the Jazzfingers Trio met the following morning to produce this video that was used on the TV show "Sonntagskonzert".

The evening concert was released on CD: "Jazz Fingers Trio live im Luitpold". A new release is imminent after not being available for decades.

Gerhard Gärtner wrote the following about the CD::

"JAZZ FINGERS TRIO LIVE IM LUITPOLD

Recorded on the 6th October 1994 in the music pavilion of the Hotel Luitpold in Bad Wörishofen. After being recommended by Barbara DENNERLEIN, the top-class trio JAZZ FINGERS performed there by invitation from the local JAZZINITIATIVE in collaboration with LUITPOLD.

Dirk Raufeisen, one of the most distinguished German pianists, whose brilliant playing fuses the entire development of the music together,

Götz Ommert, bass player with fascinating technical skill and

Thomas Cremer, excellent, sensitive drummer, who is also familiar with the softer tones,

enchanted and inspired an enthusiastic audience with their top-class sold-out jazz concert.

One of the highlights was when the trio spontaneously invited the alto saxophonist Barbara Ehlich, who was present in the audience, to „join in“. Without any coordination issues, the result speaks for itself: the enchanting “Luitpold Blues”, which was created on the spot.
