Plusnet vs Be-Fibre - Real World Speed Test Comparison - Which should you choose ?

Here's my real world comparison between Plusnet Fibre Broadband ( upto 72Mb package ) and BE-FIBRE Full Fibre Broadband that I have had installed about a week.

Fibre Heroes installed the new cable to the pole about 50m away from the house and an engineer fitted the magic boxes outside and inside the house - very professional, polite and helpful throughout.

I haven't cancelled Plusnet yet - in case of any delay or problems with BE-FIBRE so decided to do a proper speed test comparison - I literally couldn't find a decent one anywhere online.

I know the video is quite long at just over 20 minutes ( but blimey it uploaded QUICKLY ) - and I hope you find the info helpful if you're unsure if it will make any difference to you at home or work.

My house is a solid built 1930's brick house and WiFi signals do not penetrate easily through the walls - hence even on a 900Mb Fibre connection I don't see speeds anywhere like that upstairs at all.

It's important to note !
If your phones, tablets, laptops or firesticks etc are OLD, then the chances are you won't get anywhere near fast connections - because the tech inside them simply won't allow it. Research your items and see what network / WiFi speed capabilities they can reach.

There's no point crying like a little girl if your 900Mb Super duper router can only talk to your prehistoric laptop at a maximum of 70Mb per second. That's like buying a Ferrari Car and putting a fiat 500 engine in it.
