Our Senior Fellow Rafe Heydel-Mankoo joined GB News Breakfast to respond to critics calling for the famous Last Night of the Proms to be diversified and drop its traditional patriotic songs like "Rule Britannia" and "Land of Hope & Glory" which, it is claimed, are redolent of imperialism.

Rafe said anyone who believes Rule Britannia is in any way racist or condoning of slavery, as has been claimed, is either historically ignorant or stupid or a disingenuous race activist.
