SunRail BREAKS DOWN at NEW DELAND STATION! Double Header, Hurricane Delays, Amtrak Dash-8 and More!

Описание к видео SunRail BREAKS DOWN at NEW DELAND STATION! Double Header, Hurricane Delays, Amtrak Dash-8 and More!

Just days before the new DeLand station opens, SunRail P321 Southbound breaks down on while doing a simulated service run, as required by the FRA. A rescue set is sent from Sanford yard to tow the broken down train back to the shops, creating a unique combination. After meeting a 6-hour late Silver Star #91 and Auto Train due to Hurricane Debby, the next scheduled Northbound SunRail is forced to use the Amtrak platform to continue the simulated service. This northbound had two locomotives on the head end, due to a traction motor problem with MP32PH-Q #105. The new station in Deland is an exciting and much needed expansion of the SunRail corridor, and a great step in the right direction for the great potential that SunRail holds.
