Setting Up the AliveCor KardiaMobile EKG Recorder

UPDATE: June 2023: The replacement unit worked for about two months. I contacted AliveCor and they told me that the unit is not compatible with my TMobile cell phone. They sent me a return label and when they received it they processed a refund for me. I'm going to have to find another way to monitor my heart.

My cardiologist reports that the readings are good and my heart is doing well. I ran an EKG while I was on the treadmill and the cardiologist said that looked good too.
The problem is my irregular heart beats last only a second or too. Too short for my readings to record on the EKG recorder but the cardiologist says that's a good thing.

UPDATE: 5/20/22: I finally reached AliveCor customer service through their telephone line.
They ran some diagnostics with me and determined that the unit was bad. They sent me a replacement unit and it is working very well!

UPDATE: 2/3/22. The battery died two weeks ago. I replaced the battery and the unit has power. Unfortunately I keep getting an error message that the EKG cannot be recorded because of interference. I tried using the unit in a quiet room, away from radio interference and away from my laptop but it still won't give me a clean EKG recording.
