Overview of Fox DPX2 IFP rebuild (light damper service) - not a complete service

Описание к видео Overview of Fox DPX2 IFP rebuild (light damper service) - not a complete service

This video skips a few steps, in part to keep you from getting into trouble. It assumes that you are already familiar with working on Fox float dampers.

If you would like to have me service your DPX2 for the IFP seal and Air Sleeve maintenance, please check out my website: http://insightbike.com/dpx2.html - My website needs some clarification, the $110 service does not include shipping and air seals. A more realistic full service, light damper overhaul with return shipping is $165 roughly.

To request service, Please fill out this form:

Otherwise, producing this video assumes that you just want to see the basic going's-on of the Fox DPX2 basic damper service, IFP seal replacement and oil refresh.

Fox's instructions: https://www.ridefox.com/fox17/help.ph...
There you will find a more detailed procedure and the tool list.

The IFP seal is just an o'ring 27mm OD/3.5mm thick(20mm ID):

Sometimes it's also necessary to replace the main piston seal head o'ring:
