Almenwelt Lofer ski resort, The Almenwelt Lofer ski pass allows you to use a total of 46 km of pistes and 11 cable cars and lifts in the Almenwelt Lofer and Unken-Heutal ski areas.
The resort in the middle of Salzburg's Saalachtal attracts visitors with its height of 639 to 1,747 meters, its wide, flat slopes with mostly easy to moderately difficult slopes.
The mild, clear, slightly hilly and picturesque Loferer Alm pasture with two chairlifts and one lift, leading to a steeper ridge, is a purely family ski area with the ambition to provide beginners and intermediate skiers with safe terrain and quality facilities at a very favorable price. In the 2012/13 season, it was expanded to include a new blue slope from the top of Schwarzeck with a luxurious 8-seater with a safety device against opening the barrier during the ride. The family-friendly ski terrain extends to the mild mountain meadow of the Loferer Alm, where two connecting modern cable cars rise from the picturesque town of Lofer.

The backbone cable car is the covered 6-seater Family Express heading to the Schönbühel hill (1,623 m), which is surrounded by light, moderate and sometimes even flat blue lines with a single light red variant.
A modern, comfortable and safe 8-seater climbing to the top of Schwarzeck (1,565 m) serving gentle blue tracks.
On the far side of Schönbühel, slightly sportier tracks initially fall, which gradually merge and descend slightly to the modern 6-seater Sender Express, compared to the original 4-seater extended towards the valley.
From the side peak Grubhörndl (1,747 m), narrower, slightly steeper and more rugged tracks descend from the top station of the lift. The red and black track with a 280m elevation also runs along the Postalm lift in the intermediate station of the approach cabins.
The descent into the valley is long, consisting of only a narrow path in places, alternating undemanding red passages and light blue traverses.
A large children's playground and a cable car are located at the top station of the cabin on the Loferer Alm.
Wooden cottages scattered across the pastures add to the picturesqueness of the Loferer Alm.
