About the Eridanus Preset Pack

This patch pack includes 80 original, royalty-free presets for the Behringer Deepmind 6/12 synthesizers with an additional 8 tweaks of patches included in the pack (88 patches in total) - 31 of the patches are on display in this video.

Why did I make this patch pack?

I have been an owner of a Deepmind 12 synthesizer for 18 months and have loved every minute with this instrument. During this time, I have sunk countless hours into programming the synth and exploring the deepest depths of what it can do. These 80 patches came about organically in that they are the absolute best of the many many patches I have programmed for the Deepmind so far. You can trust that these are quality presets because these are the sounds that I use on a regular basis to make music. Of all the patches I have made with this synth, these 80 stood out as the best blend of being creative in their sound and actually usable in a jam, mix, or performance.

If you are interested in purchasing this preset pack, here is a step-by-step guide on how to proceed:

2) The preset pack download and a video with instructions on how to install the patches properly will be included in your receipt
3) Receive the patches, transfer them to your Deepmind, make awesome music, then share with all your friends!

Note that these patches can be transferred to any bank and any patch number following the installation instructions that will be included as a video in the email receipt. Please reach out to me at [email protected] for additional questions or if you are in need of support.

0:00 Classic Juno
1:01 Classic Organ
Tip #1: Map the rotary effect slow/fast setting to a foot pedal in the mod matrix to accelerate and decelerate the spinning cabinet - in this patch, the function is also mapped to the mod wheel
1:40 Flutter Signal
2:28 Molasses Pad
2:46 Rainfall
Tip #2: The offset control in the standard delay effect creates beautiful stereo images when tweaked
3:28 Ring Mod Lead
4:00 Cozy Ensemble
Tip #3: Create a natural analog chorus by putting the patch into Unison-2 mode, mapping VCA pan to Uni Voice (full strength), increase OSC 1+2 pitch mod mapped to LFO 1, then finally set the spread of LFO 1 to 180
5:05 StarsOverWater
Tip #4: Play the filter as an analog sine wave by turning off the oscillators, cranking the resonance high, and setting filter key tracking to its maximum position. Bring the filter cutoff down to tune the "oscillator"
5:57 808 Bass
Tip #5: A tight pitch envelope and the right amount of distortion are key to an 808 bass sound
6:14 Reflection
6:54 Trem Pad
7:37 Glass Cutter
8:15 Xylophone
Tip #6: Turn the delay time down to almost 0 and the feedback up to create unique synthesized timbres
8:28 Soundtrack
8:58 Royal Lead
9:24 Vox Bass
Tip #7: Put the decimator delay into "pre" mode with its mix at 0 for a classic bitcrusher effect
9:51 Marine Study
10:23 ResoSquare
10:53 Sunrise Bloom
Tip #8: Set LFO 1 at max rate and assign NoteNum to LFO 1 Rate in the mod matrix (full strength). Now map LFO 1 to various parameters (e.g pitch mod, PWM, filter cutoff etc.) to add some linear FM flavour to your patches. Experiment with the modulation depth and the shape of LFO 1. You can add create expontential FM by then assigning NoteNum at full strength to the mod slot that was just used
11:51 Remembrance
12:21 Desert Ambience
13:07 Unstable Earth
Tip #9: Turning up the chorus rate can provide a unique pitch vibrato that can be a welcome change from classic LFO to pitch vibratos, especially when changing the left and right delay values of the chorus effect
14:01 Brittle
14:54 Scorching Lead
15:25 Clouds Apart
16:16 Glug Glug Pad
Tip #10: An LFO with a sample and hold (random) wave mapped to the filter cutoff is a "bubbly" synth sound
16:40 Swirrrrllll
17:03 House Stabs
Tip #11: Use chord mode to create classic single-chord transposition house progressions. Maj7, min7, and min9 are go-to chords for this application
17:22 Engulfed
17:48 Waves Crashing
