In this particular episode, I'm going to list all the common problems that one can encounter pertaining to their thyroid gland. One underactive thyroid, also known as hypothyroidism. Two overactive thyroid glands or hyperthyroidism. Three inflammation of the thyroid gland are also known as thyroiditis. Four, you can have lumps and bumps in the thyroid gland, which we call as thyroid nodules or a goitre. And last but not least, people can develop cancer in the thyroid gland just like any other part of the body.
