In this video Simple Minds performing in playback the album version of New Gold Dream (81,82,83,84) for Italian TV show "Discoring" which was shown on RAI TV. This video was probably shot in March 13th, 1983 when Simple Minds started the Italian leg. The song was also released as a single in Italy as further promotion for the tour. It's also a notable performance for being one of the first videos to feature "new" drummer Mel Gaynor who joined them midway through the tour.
