This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. 去年的國教風波，以至最近的 HKTV 發牌事件，在在反映了一個由小圈子「選舉」出來的政權是如何的不得民心。當然，稍有常識的人都不會天真地相信普選是一顆能解決所有社會問題的萬靈丹，但我們當應明白，一個受制於普選制度而不得不向選民問責的民選政府總不會比獨裁政權差 。

中學通識科教師及著名博客。自 2006 年起，庫斯克與另外兩位通識科老師周子恩、 陳樹鳴，創辦網上通識頻道「三師會」，討論時事，教學生通識。 現為《經濟日報》通識版、《e-zone》及香港電台通識網定期供稿， 著有《通識我主場》一書。
