Elegant afternoon teas are historically associated with Great Britain the way fine pastries and macarons are with France. Ladurée [https://www.laduree.fr/en/], the iconic Parisian pâtisserie established in 1862, does a lovely job of melding the two traditions.

Now, more than 160 years later, Ladurée shops and tea rooms can be found worldwide. Thankfully for the Tea Grannies, this includes a very pretty little store and tea salon on Vancouver's Robson Street. It made for an enjoyable afternoon, and with warmer weather, a wee tea on their streetside patio may very well be a future episode. Enjoy!
