Wet Stone Flattening

Wet stone flattening with Nano Hone Lapping plate NL-6 I like the NL-6 because it is the finest grit of the three lapping stones offered by Nano-Hone. As a result it is the least aggressive and it leaves a nice restored finish to my fine wet stones like my 2000 grit Naniwa through the flattening process. As a final step I finish the wet stone surface using the King Nagura stone #8000 to achieve the true wet stone working grit surface.
