Welcome to GD Goenka Public School, Srinagar, one of the premier educational institutions in the valley. Al Habib Education Trust has been founded in the 1990s for helping the widows and orphans. It started a Family Support System for the victims of social and natural calamities. From then, around one hundred students each year are given free boarding, schooling, tuitions and all other supports required for them at Nawatta. The Al-Habib institution at Nawatta produces many HAFIZ boys every year who go on to become scholars.

AL HABIB Educational Trust also runs a Widows’ Financial Support Program under which around four hundred widows are given financial assistance every month.

GD Goenka Public School, Sadarbal Nigeen was founded in Oct 2015 for imparting quality education to students of the valley.
