My failed attempt at turning dakgalbi into baked rice! 😭 My fault for filming content without testing the recipe first lol… but anyway here’s the normal way to make dakgalbi without the rice:

Ingredients: 500g boneless chicken thigh, 1 sliced carrot, 1 sliced onion, 1 cup cabbage, optional cheese topping (mozzarella or cheddar)

Sauce: 2 tbsp gochujang, 1 tbsp gochugaru, 1 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp rice wine, 1 tbsp minced garlic

1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized chunks.
2. Mix the chicken into the sauce and marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
3. At oil to a hot skillet and cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes or until fully cooked. Add in the veggies at the last minute.
4. Top with cheese and cover for a minute to melt it before serving.
