The NCIS team has been one step behind in every move they make to catch a terrorist, but now they know they are closing in. Frustrated with their progress, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) can't wait any longer for drones and backup. He takes matters into his own hands and, armed only with a shotgun, is able to flush out the suspects. With McGee (Sean Murray), DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), and Kate all on hand, the team goes after their target. After an epic shootout, they find themselves on the roof where a sniper takes a shot at Gibbs. Kate dives in front of the bullet, taking the shot to her protective vest and saving Gibbs' life. Just when they think the coast is clear, one more shot comes blazing through the air...
