Going through boot camp in the Marine Corps was a life-changing experience for me, but after graduating, I made a lot of bad decisions that slowed my progress toward reaching my goals. That's why, in this video, I'll tell you what I would do differently after boot camp so that you don't repeat the same mistakes as I did!

Summary:
#1: Waking Up Early
I've learned over time that it's not about setting an alarm for when you should wake up, it's about setting an alarm for when you should go to sleep.
#2: Reset Your Environment
Your environment is everything. If you surround yourself with old habits and people who don't inspire you, this will make it much harder to see progress and growth
#3: Reset Your Algorithm
With your environment, it's not just about what's around you physically. If I were to go back, I'd tell my younger self to delete the social media platforms I wasn't using productively and to unfollow everything that is not taking me closer to my goals.
#4: Reading And Journaling
Reading is a great tool to help open your mind to new ideas, and when you combine this with journaling, you will see progress and growth a lot faster.
#5: Start A Side Hustle
There are so many opportunities to make money nowadays, especially online. Don't be scared of trying new things and failing so you can learn the lessons and skills necessary for future endeavors. Looking back, I wish I had started YouTube during the pandemic because there were many content creators who became millionaires from that opportunity.
#6: Focus On Learning New Skills
A regular 9-5 job is okay if you love what you do, but if you're in a position where you're not learning something new every day, then you need to change it up. Don't get complacent working a job that isn't challenging you and forcing you to grow. Looking back, I'm glad I quit my dead-end jobs, because I wouldn't be anywhere near the level I am today if I stayed.
