Talking About Movies - EASY ENGLISH VOCABULARY

I want you to think about your 3 favourite movies. What is it about those movies that you enjoy so much? The acting? The special effects? The story? It's probably a combination of these things, as well as many other factors. If you want to learn how to talk about films and movies in English, then this video is for you.

We'll cover some of the most important movie-related vocabulary, and how it can be used in sentences. The words we'll cover: Star(v.), Genre(n.), Plot(n.), Set(v.).

For example:
Jurassic Park is an adventure movie starring Sam Neil, Richard Attenborough and Jeff Goldblum. It's about a theme park where dinosaurs have been cloned and brought back to life, but things go bad very quickly. It's set in a theme park on an island in the Pacific ocean.

or

Austin Powers is a series of comedy movies starring Mike Myers. It's about a British Spy who tries to catch his nemesis Dr. Evil. It's set all around the world, and even through time!
