Grease is a musical romantic comedy set in 1959 at Rydell High School.

The story follows Danny Zuko, leader of the T-Birds greaser gang, and Sandy Olsson, a sweet and innocent Australian transfer student. After a summer romance, they are unexpectedly reunited at school. Danny tries to keep his tough image among his friends, while Sandy struggles to fit in with the Pink Ladies, a clique of rebellious girls led by Rizzo.
