A pair of American men have been kidnapped in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.
Officials say the men, who are in their early 30s were snatched as they were travelling in a car between resort towns along the Red Sea.
The abductions are the latest in a series of kidnappings there.
Tourists have become prime targets from a group of people trying to secure release their detained relatives or to improve basic services in their areas.
Past kidnappings have ended peacefully and officials say negotiations were under way to secure the release of these two.
