Today's episode is about a delightful momo trail in Dehradun where Anubhav Sapra along with our young gracious host Bani, a food blogger from the city, are on a journey to discover some of the go to momo joints over here.

Due to the warm and hearty flavours, easy to eat form and the scope for fascinating experimentations, in recent years momos have evolved as a cult street food, mostly popular with the young and dynamic crowd.

With its numerous momo joints both humble and grand, Dehradun is a hub for momo lovers. So let's see what all did they relish.

The first stop was Tibet Kitchen at Mussoorie Road. Here they tried the classic mutton momos. Both the taste and the quantity made it a great option.

After this they had some veg and cheese kothey momos from Orchard restaurant. The juicy momos had the goodness of both steamed and pan fried momos. The best thing about this place was the simple and natural ambience.

Next they went to Lhasa Tibet kitchen to have the sumai momos. The top part of these steamed chicken momos were unsealed. They were a little spicy yet well cooked and delicious. This place too had an open seating area that was so much fun.

Thereafter they went to Dope High On Food, a fancy and cosy fast food joint to try the Afghani momos and achari moms. Both the dishes were very different from each other and the only common thing was the tandoori momos. The achari one was really impressive as it was zesty, smokey and juicy.

In the late afternoon they reached Musee art cafe which boasts of really cool options for momo lovers. They ordered an assorted momo platter that had paneer, mixed veg, barbecued chicken and Maggi momos in it.
The experience was really good although one of the above was not that appealing.

And the final stop of this trail was a popular fine dining restaurant named Asia Seven. Here they tried two unique and novel momos called New York style cheese momo and chicken and water chestnut momos. Both the delicate dishes were pieces of art.

This momo trail was a indeed a gluttonous yet gratifying affair.
